Pahrump Trunk-or-Treat 2019

Denis & Sandi Inman

The Pahrump Valley 4 Wheelers arriving in about 7 or 8 vehicles assembled in the parking lot at Phantom Fireworks to distribute candy in the Trunk-or-Treat event held at that location. Members passed out over a thousand pieces of candy, possibly closer to 2 thousand to the children and parents of our community that wanted to take part in a safe Halloween event.

Since we needed to get to the line-up area before the streets were closed for the 55th Annual Pahrump Fall Festival Parade, we had lots of time to embellish our Jeeps with adornments before the 9:00 AM start. The Pahrump Valley 4 Wheelers were invited to participate in the Wild West Extravaganza Parade that started and ended at Petrack Park in Pahrump. We had 10 Jeeps from the club ardently showing support for our community. The enthusiastic participants in a mixture of TJs, JKs, a JL and a Grand Cherokee were Mike & Debbie, Me & Sandi, Jeremy, Dave & Judy, Sel & Pam, Brian & Yvonne, Mike & his Retriever, John & Jackie with their Heeler, Gary & Nancy and Paul.

Story & Photos by Denis & Sandi Inman

The head count at the Monday, March 11th, 7:55 AM PDST Driver’s Meeting for the Pahrump Valley 4 Wheelers trail run was easy, as only Gary and Sherrie showed up. They arrived at 7:30 to make certain that I did not leave them as I had done on a previous trip. (In my defense, once it became apparent I had left them, I went back.)
