COVID-19 FORCES N4WDA to CANCEL MILD 2 WILD EVENT
The N4WDA discussed the Mild 2 Wild event that was rescheduled to September 12th, from May 9th and came to the conclusion that we will cancel the event until, hopefully, next year. We had already cancelled the 5th N4WDA Silver State Poker Run until next year.
The reasons for cancellation of Mild 2 Wild are:
- The uncertainty of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions set down by Governor Sisolak.
- The fact that we had only 3 pre-registrations for the event (although we realize that registrations would probably increase as we neared the event date as participants have the same uncertainty that our Board considered.
- We don’t know what BLM will decide about the event as they also have to adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions.
We hope to hold the Mild 2 Wild event in May 2021 if the pandemic is under control and the restrictions are relaxed.
We also hope to hold the 5th Silver State Poker Run next September as these events are both fund-raisers to support the Association and to provide fun events for our members and the general public (which makes them aware of our Association and promotes membership).
We hope that you all are safe and adhering to the guidelines. We also hope that you are able to get away from home and use your vehicles to enjoy safe 4-wheeling in the desert and forests. We want to see you out on the trails!
